It has been one month since we wrapped up the last Dementia Awareness Roadshow of 2026. We wanted to thank anyone who supported these events, whether you exhibited, popped in to show your support, or helped spread the word. Over five months, the Roadshow brought 30 organisations to Bungay, Leiston, Lowestoft, Framlingham, Rendlesham and Martlesham.
One piece of feedback ... "We have really enjoyed being part of the Dementia Roadshows and feel it has been very productive for people worried about their memory, and for care professionals too, in knowing what support is available." ...
The Dementia Awareness Roadshow was created to bring local people, families and carers together with the organisations across Suffolk that can help. While the events themselves have ended, our commitment to connecting people to the help they need remains the same.
We’ve put all 30 participating organisations, and the services they provide, into a free 'Suffolk Dementia Support Guide', providing a practical starting point when someone asks, "Where do I go for help?". We hope you find this useful to save and share with ... anyone who might need it!
You can view and/or download the Guide, by clicking upon the image above.
