ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) will be undertaking improvement works in Snape [on the A1094] to enhance local highways infrastructure, as part of the East Anglia TWO offshore wind project. To ensure this work is completed safely, we will be implementing traffic management. These works are scheduled to begin on Thursday 22nd May and will last for approximately six weeks, with working hours between 10am – 3pm, Monday — Friday.
The works will include:
• The creation of new footpaths
• Installation of uncontrolled crossings ❋
To ensure the safety of both the public and our workforce, temporary traffic management will be in place. This will involve a single-lane road access managed by traffic lights. Please note, all traffic management is being undertaken with approval from Suffolk County Council (SCC) Highways.

[In summary, footpaths will be laid across the front of the Old School House (Brian Boulton's house) and along part of the grass frontage of Church Garage, with just dropped kerbs outside/opposite the garage, and linking the churchyard path near the war memorial with Church Common. ❋ The term "Uncontrolled crossings" implies that there will be no zigzag markings on the roadway.]
