The Snape village sign on the green was looking like it needed a bit of TLC, so Alan Edwards and I gave the sign, and the memorial plaques, a clean this morning. Alan was up the ladder.

The sign, dedicated in 1987, was designed by the late Jenny Toombs of Benhall,
and symbolises various aspects of Snape. These are described at
