Alde Valley Classics Day 2021

UPDATED ON SUNDAY, 15th AUGUST
—
What a wonderfully successful day we had last Sunday!  The rain god was much more kind than we expected and we were delighted with the number of classic cars, and of visitors who had a really good day out.

Thanks must go to all who volunteered on the day: the stall holders, the food and drink providers, and those who put the site together beforehand and cleared it all up again on Monday morning, as well as those who saw people and cars safely in, and safely out again.  Thanks too go to the person who organised the Red Arrows flight overhead (even though I missed it)!

Early figures suggest we made in excess of £6,000 which is a splendid result.  Without this community effort we would be much the worse off — not just financially, but as a group of people who think and care about each other, it was a wonderful example of how we should live.

Rev Rachel

We hope you will be able to come and enjoy a visit at some point during the day —
but, in the meantime, your help with providing items for the stalls would be welcome.
We hope to have a Book Stall, a Bottle Stall and a Produce Stall,
so if you have any items for these will you start putting them aside ready for the day.
Rev. Rachel
