A Night with Aldeburgh Museum  

Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage fund and other sponsors, the Moot Hall and Museum have been completely refurbished with new exciting displays and digital content, reopening last October.   The Museum team, led by Tony Bone and including Sunil Das and Diana Hughes, will be talking to The Aldeburgh Society about some of the little-known artefacts and tales of Aldeburgh which have led to it being such an interesting place.  Tony Bone will be talking about the Snape Burial Ship, from which the vase above is displayed in the Museum.

The event starts at 6:30 on Friday 31st January in the Aldeburgh Community & Sports Centre (beside Tesco's).  Doors open at 6 pm.  Tickets are only available on the door and cost £2 for Aldeburgh Society (and also Aldeburgh & District Local History Society) members, and £4 for all others.  Drinks are for sale from 6pm.
