EA1N&2 Early Hearings

East Anglia ONE North and TWO: Early Hearings at The Britten Studio, Snape Maltings

* CANCELLED! *
* Recent coronavirus advice from the Planning Inspectorate can be read at the foot of this page. *

Tue 10th March by 12:00 noon   Deadline to advise the Case Team that you wish to attend any of the meetings listed below.  Register by email at BOTH EastAngliaONENorth@planninginspectorate.gov.uk AND EastAngliaTwo@planninginspectorate.gov.uk.

  The "Agendas for the March 2020 Hearings have been published",
and are available from the link on both the official project pages listed below.

All hearings are held in public and you may attend to observe them, even if you do not request or are not invited to be heard.  All hearings are digitally recorded, and the audio recordings are published on the project web page [see below].

Tue 24th March at 10:00am (seating available from 9:00am)   The Preliminary Meeting is a procedural meeting for representations to be made about how the application should be examined.  It will NOT deal with the merits of the Proposed Development.

Wed 25th March at 10:00am (seating 9am)    Issue-Specific Hearing 1 (ISH1) on Project Description and Options

Wed 25th March at 3:30pm  (seating 3pm)   Issue-Specific Hearing 2 (ISH2) on Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA), Mitigation, Imperative Reasons of Overriding Public Interest (IROPI) and Examination Contingencies

Thu 26th March at 10:00am (seating available from 9:00am)   Open-Floor Hearing 1 (OFH1): THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT HEARING FOR THE COMMUNITY VOICE TO BE HEARD.  It is open to the public, but only those who put in relevant "representations" (objections), and are therefore identified as "Interested Parties" (IP's), have the right to speak.  Obviously the more people who attend the better.  A briefing, put together by SASES and Friston Parish Council, can be downloaded from http://sases.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/SASES-Newsletter-EA1N-EA2-DCOs-Preliminary-Meetings-Advice.pdf .

☞  Further information can also be found on the SASES website here.
